Insightful, supportive coaching to help you meet your speaking goals
Hello, Doctor!
The media may approach you for an interview on a medical study.
Here is a question to ask yourself as you prepare to communicate information about the study:
Can I clarify risks and benefits?
Then ask yourself:
Will I discuss the dosage or exposure that was linked to an outcome?
What is the baseline risk of developing a disease or condition?
Will I express both the relative and absolute risk?
In the next post in this series, I’ll go over some general guidelines about translating the findings into practical consumer advice. Stay tuned!
